The last ten days have brought lots of changes. Chase took his first steps on Tuesday, July 2nd-9 1/2 months old. He has been cruising a lot and sometimes letting go and standing for just a second. He let go of the rocking chair and waved his arms and stood there for just a bit longer than he had been. Then he crawled to the jumperoo and pulled up on it, looked over at me and got this really excited look on his face and then he took about five steps to me. I couldn't believe it! Of course, he didn't make it all the way to me because he tripped over a plastic turtle that was in the way. He has gained so much confidence the past few days. He loves to walk around in his pack-and-play because the landings are soft and he knows his boundaries.
He is also crawling with his belly up almost all of the time.
He is eating solids much better now and is much more interested in food finally. I guess he figured it out when he was ready. He loves string cheese the most. :)
He says dada the most along with dog. He says book too. When he sees the horses he calls them dog. It's so cute.
He got his first haircut today and went swimming for the first time. Will make another post with those pics.
He is such a happy, smiley, sweet boy and we are so blessed.
