15 months & Christmas
At Chase's 15 month check up he measured 31 1/2" tall and 23.2 lbs. He did most of his growing by getting taller. We had a wonderful Christmas and were so blessed to be with family and friends.
Lots of changes
So many changes! 16 1/2 months old and he's really changing everyday. He's saying so many more words now and is doing and saying lots of cute things. He knows lots and lots of baby signs now too. My favorite one lately is the sign for dinosaur.
Yesterday I asked him what his name was and his face lit up and he said "baby!" It was so cute. He started saying cowboy and recognizes the letters B and O now too. Whenever he hears a train he stops and listens and does the baby sign for train. He loves planes and cars and especially fire trucks. If you ask him what a fire truck says he will say "bom bom" and sounds like the horn. Out of nowhere he picked up a toy cow and said moo. When it's bath time David goes to run the water and Chase will follow behind him and get a wash rag out of the drawer. He just started doing that completely on his own. The other day I asked him to show me where we go to brush his teeth and he grabbed my hand and walked all the way back to the bedroom and into the bathroom where his toothbrush is at.
He loves to play with his football and basketball. He calls his football a "hatbah" and it's really cute. He's been so full of energy especially in the evenings and gets so excited for dada to come home. He wants to climb on everything and he loves to dance.

Chase is using lots of baby sign language now. It's so cool to see him get excited when he can communicate about the things that are interesting to him. It also really helps that he can communicate some of his needs. Let's see if I can list some of the signs he is using. There are so many now I'm sure I will forget something.
•milk, stars, flower, horse, bird, car, cow, cat, chicken, frog, fish, duck, hat, book, shoes, drink, eat, all done, more, bath, monkey, pig, sleeping, moon, fan, diaper, spider, turtle, bubbles, brushing his teeth, ball, outside, bye bye, butterfly, sunshine...
I will have to add some more if I've missed something.

Fun at Gymboree and driving
We had a fun time at Gymboree last Saturday. It's been a long time since all three of us have gone together.
