32 weeks old today

P718

Chase has all 4 front teeth...they are still coming in but are definitely there! You can feel the top two side teeth as well. He has really been sitting up for longer periods of the the past two days. He also really likes to pull up to stand when he is sitting...he will pull up on my hands. We started practicing at out Gymboree play & learn classes. We have had fun doing that, it's great for Chase to watch the other kids and experience new things.

This week he has sort of tried sweet potatoes, avocado, rice cereal, and banana. He hasn't had more than a tiny bite or two and has not been impressed.

I'm seriously too busy for all your picture taking

A full day

Here are some pics from today. Chase playing with one of his favorite toys this morning in his jammies, asleep in the carseat after we got home from church, and some cute pics of Dixie and Chase. :-)

31 weeks old today

We had a big day today! :) we went to the Great Cloth Diaper Change this morning and it was great. It was a pretty neat even and happened at many locations all over the U.S. and in other countries. In an attempt to set a Guinness World Record, all the attendees changed their babies into a cloth diaper at the same time. We had 64 participants at our location and we met some awesome mama's and babies. We ran some errands and went to check on our mare. This evening we gave Chase his first taste of sweet potato and it was interesting. David got it on video. I don't think Chase knew what to think of this new stuff. :-) I will try to get the video posted but it's on David's phone at the moment. He barely took two bites and made funny faces.

Snack pirate

Chase turned 7 months old yesterday. We celebrated by going to a Gymboree play and learn class and it was a lot of fun. We will definitely go back again!

Some updates:
You can feel all 4 of Chase's front teeth. He got the bottom right one first and it came in a week ago. On Monday you could feel the left front bottom tooth and today you can definitely feel both uppers. No wonder he's been waking quite a bit at night lately. ;)

He can sit up briefly unassisted. I'm not sure if he'd just rather not be still or if he could sit up longer but he is usually too busy to stay in one spot.

He's a little over 28" long and close to 20 lbs.

His first word was "Og" referring to Dixie. He said that the day before he turned 6 months old. His second word was dada and he's been saying it for two weeks. He says hey and hi and lots of other babbles.

He has gotten pretty good this last week at army crawling. He loves to roll and scoot and kick.

A little about his routine: He likes to play on his playmat after he wakes up in the morning. He wakes up between 7:30 and 8:30 most of the time but every once in a while it's closer to 9:30. I usually eat breakfast and other little things during this time. After breakfast we play and read books. When he eats for the second time in the morning (around 11:15 give or take) he will usually nap. After he wakes up from his nap he likes to play in the jumper and I will eat lunch. After lunch we play and on pretty days we will go for a walk at some point. Of course there are diaper changes and nursing and all that good stuff. He enjoys splashing in the bath tub and seeing himself in the mirror.

His favorite toy right now is his musical turtle and he roll crawl to it most of the time if you put it out of his reach. He loves his jumperoo and is always excited to play in it and jump.

He also loves to patty cake and has gotten really good at clapping the last three weeks or so.

We've had so many changes this past month it's unreal. He's growing so fast we can't believe it.
