On a roll
19 weeks old Saturday January 28th
He slept til 4:00 two mornings this past week. And then he was up a lot Friday and Saturday night.
We had dinner at the preacher's house Monday night and he was so very good. We truly enjoyed our visit and the Bryan's are wonderful.
Teething is bothering him at times. Thank goodness it comes and goes!
He enjoys being outside and the weather here in El Paso has been pretty awesome. We walk around the backyard and he likes to touch the stone fence and pull on the dry fronds of the palm tree. We sit so he can pet Dixie if she gets close enough. She likes to lick his arm and he likes to touch the top of her head. He enjoys watching Dixie and Carly play in the backyard too. :-)
Growing boy
4 months old today
He has started showing all the early signs of teething. Drool, increased night waking, chewing on everything, etc. sometimes it makes him a little fussy. He likes cold teethers as those seem to help.
His routine lately has been to go to bed between 9:00 and 9:45 and he will sleep for about 4 hours then wake up every 2 hours. He gets up for the day around 9:00 and likes to play with his toys before breakfast. He will usually take a nap after the second feeding of the morning and is good to go until around 4:00ish. He takes that late afternoon nap and is usually up when David gets home from work.
He had a couple small spots on his skin that we think we're eczema. Some calendula cream helped clear that up and all is good with that now. Out here in this dry weather we use a humidifier at night for him and he has been dealing with some chapped lips. We are working on getting those healed up.
As of this past weekend he is now in a size 3 diaper. We keep some on hand for nights or if he has a rash. We still prefer the cloth diapers for everything else.
Hi hair has really grown a lot and is so soft and fluffy. It's finally starting to show in pictures now.
He also likes to sit with me and look at some of his books. His Big Animal Book has some great pics and bright colors and he looks at that the most. He also likes looking at his truck book with his Daddy.
And as I'm typing this he just rolled from his back to his tummy. :-)
