Happy 2 month birthday to my sweet son Chase. To celebrate, we took him to the Dr for his 2 month check-up. Nice, aren't I? So he weighed in at 14.1 lbs and is now 24" long. That's an increase from 10.8 lbs and 22 1/2" long at his 2 week check up. I guess you could say he's growing a little! :) Dr. Cheng said he is above the 90th percentile for height and weight. My big boy!

8 weeks old Saturday November 12th
This is from Saturday...for some reason I had some issues getting it posted!
It's hard to believe that 8 weeks have gone by! We love our sweet little boy so much! He had a big week this week...his first long road trip and an adventure to the mountains along with his first college volleyball game. Life in a hotel room with an 8 week old is interesting to say the least. On one hand though it was great because he was always in the same room as we were. So El Paso...so different than anywhere I've been...mountains and desert and dust and a total culture adjustment. Chase and I learned our way around and met some great new friends.
So we spent pretty much all day today in the truck headed back to Lampasas...sorry that all today's pics are in the carseat. He was such a trooper. He really did great considering how long the journey takes. He was definitely ready to be out of the carseat there towards the end but you could imagine. I'm so proud of him. Love this little video too, we got him this little deal to play with at the suggestion of our new friend Kelly. Today was the first day that he actually touched it and really messed with it. He had been interested and would really look at it, but today he really interacted with it some. (which is great when you are in the car that long!)
He got into a fairly good routine this week, even dealing with the reflux in the evenings. It really hasn't hit him any other time of day in awhile now, so I guess that is an improvement at least. They say he will grow out of it as his digestive system matures.

7 weeks old today! November 5th
It's been quite a week! From Halloween to a great visit with Scott, Vita, and Evie, and then his first long road trip, it's been one adventure after another! He has been so chattery and smiley and then still some reflux. I really do think it's better than it was so that is good news. He has started making quite a few different sounds and I just love talking to him and having him talk back to me. He is getting so expressive and is so much fun when he is alert and awake. :) fun times!

Here are some fun pics from Chase's first Halloween. He looked so cute in his tiger costume. Luv him!!! :) we had an adventurous day and even went to see the last middle school volleyball games. He had such a good time with Sarah! And Sam too, but I didn't get a pic of her! :/ we went to Grammy and Pappy's to help pass out candy, but only 3 groups of trick-or-treaters came by. Bummer. I guess this down economy affects everybody! ;)
