Oh little boy-and 37 weeks old

So in our rent house in El Paso there are two AC units…one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The downstairs unit stopped working yesterday so last night and tonight we decided to sleep upstairs. We got the pack-and-play out for Chase to sleep in and that was good. Tonight though, trying to get him down to sleep, he was kinda drowsy but not out so we put him down in the pack-and-play. We heard him in there scratching his nails on the sides and saying dada after he had been quiet for a minute or two. It was quiet again and we thought maybe this is working...and then I shined the light from my phone in that direction. To my surprise, he was standing up hanging onto the top rail and his cute little blond head was sticking up over the top. He was smiling so big...it was cute. The past few days he has managed to pull himself up on the couch but it's a bit lower than the top of the pack-and-play. Shaking my head...so we will definitely be lowering his crib platform to the lowest level before he sleeps in it again.
